Sword inspired by a Spanish model of the 17th century. Cup fitted by hand with the edges finished in a lobed shape. It is mounted on a hanwei blade. The handle is made in almond tree heart wood.

ENGLISH DUELLING RAPIER OR "DISH HILT" (17th CENTURY)
Modern interpretation of an English dueling rapier, also known as "dish-hilt", which has the characteristic spiral quillions removed at the request of the client.
Guard made in stainless steel, cup made by hand in 1.5mm steel. Oak handle with waxed leather.
The blade is a hanwei with various modifications to suit the model in question.

DISH HILT RAPIER (17th CENTURY)
Interpretation of a 17th century sword with a curious design based on an original model located in the Lázaro Galdiano museum.
The shallow bowl is handmade in 1.5mm stainless steel. The oversized "rompepuntas" is decorated with a hadmade motif. The entire guard is made by hand in stainless steel, with spiral decorations . The reinforcement between the quillon and the handguard is an addition, request of the future owner.
The blade is a hanwei with an added fuller.
